    RANCH ROPING CLINIC with CAM SCHRYVER, JULY 2-9, CHICO BASIN RANCH

    Join us for this special opportunity with Cam Schryver to learn traditional ranch roping techniques and instruction on positioning, throwing a loop, cattle handling as well as ranch horsemanship techniques. The week will end in a traditional branding where you can be involved on the ground with calf wrestling, vaccinating, giving shots and roping from horseback. Intermediate to advanced horsemanship is required.
    This is a real life ranch experience where previous horsemanship is required. If you prefer a more laid back vacation we can offer other ranch opportunities in Colorado through Ranchlands. There are also different horsemanship experiences at Ranchlands offered around the year if you require different dates and/or experiences.

    This experience is designed for people with previous horseback riding knowledge, who have intermediate to advanced equine skills. If you are a novice or nervous rider, please contact us about one of our more appropriate tours for your needs.

    The ranch is not licensed to serve alcohol, but invite you to bring your own, or they can purchase it for you and have it waiting prior to your arrival
